At Turku University of Applied Sciences, the Faculty of Health Care has gathered its research, development and innovation activities under the RDI programme Expertise in Health Care and Medication. This collection presents some of the individual projects operating under the programme.
VIRTU – Virtual Elderly Care Services on Baltic Islands is a project that was carried out in Finland, Åland and Estonia in 2010–2013. The aim of the project was to develop a service model to help elderly people living in the archipelago. This publication examines the learning processes and practical experiences connected with the implementation of interactive distance services.
Finland and China have been enjoying a long-standing and traditional friendship. By 2012, about 300 Finnish enterprises have become established in China. This study report examines some characteristics and challenges related to business relationships between Finnish and Chinese companies.
